H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will pay an official visit to New Zealand on 12-14 November 2014.

This visit will be the first official visit from Turkey to New Zealand at Foreign Minister level after an interval of 20 years.

On the occasion of the visit, both sides are expected to review the relations between Turkey and New Zealand in all aspects and take up the preparations for commemoration ceremonies of the 100th anniversary of Çanakkale Land Battles in 2015. During the meetings, there will be an exchange of views on developments in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region as well.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu is also expected to come together with the representatives of the Turkish community in New Zealand during the visit.
