The Fifth Meeting of the Turkish-Russian Joint Strategic Planning Group (JSPG), a sub-organ of the Turkish-Russian High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC), will be held in Istanbul on 25 November 2015 under the joint chairmanship of H.E. Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and H.E. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The sides will review at the JSPG meeting the preparations for the Sixth Meeting of HLCC planned to be held in the Russian Federation on 15 December 2015 and discuss the current state of bilateral relations in various fields.

Moreover, the sides will have a comprehensive exchange of views on major foreign policy issues of common interest for both countries, especially on Syria crisis.
