H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will pay a visit to Tashkent on 27 March 2018, in order to participate in the “Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan” which will be hosted by Uzbekistan.

At the Conference that will be opened by H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and H.E. Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the countries of the region and the international community will underline their solidarity with Afghan people and government and reiterate their support to the Afghan Peace and Reconciliation Process.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu is expected to have bilateral meetings with his counterparts at the margins of the Conference.
